Blue Sea Products, an established, premier seafood company, came to Smith + Saint at the beginning of a change in business strategy. Initially focused on wholesale and food service revenue channels, Blue Sea Products wanted to dedicate more effort and resources to their retail and direct-to-consumer streams. With that idea, along with a keen understanding of the digital generation and a distinct respect for innovation, Blue Sea Products wanted to step into the social media scene in a thoughtful, powerful way.

Blue Sea Products enlisted Smith + Saint to lead a content-creation campaign, and to kick off and manage their social media presence by educating consumers about their products and building a community that loves to #EatBlueSea. We developed a phased plan that would systematically roll out in a way that ensured maximum ROI and aligned with Blue Sea Products business strategy. The game plan? Consistent social output followed by an ambassador program, brand collaborations, and targeted influencer marketing.
